The Power of Knowing In Around a Minute…

Preparing for and filing your taxes can be your best or most dreaded time of year. For some, it’s an easy process gathering W-2s and waiting for a refund, while for others it involves pages of documents, 1099’s, receipts and and researching new tax laws, all in effort to avoid paying taxes they do not owe.

There isn’t much in life that can bring about as much anxiety as homeownership and everything that comes with it. But there are so many things that a homeowner can learn to empower themselves. It is all about knowledge, because with knowledge, the opportunities and options that were once indistinguishable and unrecognizable can come into focus.

As professionals in our industry —an industry that is crucial to the well-being of our communities— we feel it is our duty to help the people of our community understand that with the ability to look at ALL of the options, you can position yourself as advantageously as possible. When everyone feels truly confident in the home buying and homeownership experience, it is good for everyone.

That is why last year we began to make educational videos. Their purpose: to lend our expertise and knowledge on a regular basis to the people looking to make a better life for themselves. For homeownership is one of the things that we feel every person should have the opportunity to realize. We call them the “Morgan Minute”, hosted by our very own Lending Solutions Officer, Joel Morgan. In them, Joel covers solutions to problems that homeowners and borrowers sometimes didn’t know were there, empowering them with knowledge and helping them to find options that would otherwise go undiscovered.
